description Several interpretations of the way in which students interact with various teaching media, ranging from traditional ones such as textbooks to new information and communication technologies, are presented. The analysis considers mediations established in the knowledge appropriation and construction, as well as the place of the learner. The paper reflects on the relation between knowledge and constructed learning together with curricular contents, considering technological and symbolic mediations which are part of the media employed. The study is based on the recovery of empirical references on the practice of study, access, validation and appropriation of knowledge in spaces of initial teachers’ education. Finally, new suggestion oriented to improve teachers education are presented with the aim of constructing proposals which should promote other ways of establishing relations between technology and knowledge.

En este artículo se presentan algunas interpretaciones en relación con las maneras en que estudiantes de profesorado interactúan con diversos medios de enseñanza, desde los tradicionales como el libro de texto, hasta las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación. Se analizaron las mediaciones que se establecen en la apropiación y construcción de saberes así como el lugar del aprendiz. Se muestran reflexiones acerca de la relación con el conocimiento y los aprendizajes que se construyen junto con los contenidos curriculares, considerando las mediaciones tecnológicas y simbólicas propias de los medios utilizados. Todo ello a partir de recuperar referencias empíricas sobre las prácticas de estudio, acceso, validación y apropiación de conocimientos en espacios de formación docente inicial. Finalmente, se presentan algunas sugerencias para la formación docente con el objetivo de construir propuestas que promuevan otros modos de relación entre las tecnologías y el conocimiento.
