description | In this work we analyze the practices and meanings built by teachers who work with complementary virtual classrooms at the Faculty of Social Sciences (UNICEN). The research methodology is qualitative, and the data collection techniques are observation inside the virtual campus and the analysis of written participations in a training course. In the results, we present practices carried out in virtual environments and the meanings constructed by professionals regarding teaching and learning in the virtual modality, to later link these results to the analysis of the regulatory frameworks of the teaching activity. In the conclusions, we propose to rethink the conditions of teaching work in the context of technological convergence and the possibilities to guarantee quality education without damaging labor rights. |

En este trabajo nos proponemos analizar las prácticas y significados construidos por docentes que trabajan con aulas virtuales complementarias en la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales (UNICEN). La metodología de investigación es cualitativa, y las técnicas de recolección de datos son la observación en el campus virtual y el análisis de participaciones escritas en un curso de capacitación. En los resultados, presentamos las prácticas realizadas en los entornos virtuales y los significados construidos por los profesionales respecto a la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en la modalidad virtual, para luego vincular estos resultados con el análisis de los marcos regulatorios de la actividad docente. En las conclusiones, proponemos repensar las condiciones del trabajo docente en el contexto de la convergencia tecnológica y las posibilidades para garantizar una educación de calidad sin lesionar derechos laborales.
