En el presente trabajo se presenta el uso del laboratorio remoto (LR) Virtual Instruments System in Reality (VISIR) con estudiantes de undécimo nivel del Colegio Científico Costarricense (CCC) de San Ramón. Para ello se realizó una propuesta didáctica que pretende mejorar y fortalecer la enseñanza de la física mediante nuevas metodologías y recursos en las clases de Física de profundización. La actividad fue desarrollada por los estudiantes en sus hogares, lo cual permitió fomentar el trabajo autónomo en el tópico de los circuitos eléctricos.
