The tasks focused on the railway stations installed in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in the municipalities of FlorentinoAmeghino, Rivadavia, TrenqueLauquen, Guaminí, Adolfo Alsina, Puan, Coronel Suárez, Coronel Pringles, Saavedra and Tornquist. The railway phenomenon left traces in both urban and rural areas, becoming a strong transforming agent of the landscape. It also had a fundamental implication in the foundation and development of the peoples of the area, in some cases also the decline of both processes (urban and railway) was intertwined. The railway materiality has particular characteristics that were reflected in the various built: with stations, warehouses, workshops, shelters, water, lamps, water and fuel tanks, nomenclators, signal booths, guarantees, toilets, hospital services, various squares, dwellings for hierarchical staff and employees of different categories. The variables studied were type of construction, architectural style, materials used, applied technology, ornamental details, railway network to which it was integrated, among others. Finally, the assessment made from the present towards this materiality was considered, with the state of conservation and deterioration of the remaining structures, their integrity, the re-use and contemporary practices of the buildings, for purposes other than those intended.

En este trabajo se aborda el relevamiento y análisis preliminar de los vestigios materiales correspondientes al fenómeno ferroviario, que pueden observarse en el paisaje ecotonal de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Las tareas se centraron en las estaciones de ferrocarril instaladas a fines del siglo XIX y a principios del siglo XX en los municipios de Florentino Ameghino, Rivadavia, Trenque Lauquen, Guaminí, Adolfo Alsina, Puan, Coronel Suárez, Coronel Pringles, Saavedra y Tornquist. El fenómeno ferroviario dejó huellas tanto en las zonas urbanas como rurales, convirtiéndose en un fuerte agente transformador del paisaje. Además, tuvo una implicancia fundamental en la fundación y desarrollo de los pueblos del área, en algunos casos también la decadencia de ambos procesos (urbanístico y ferroviario) estuvo entrelazada. La materialidad ferroviaria presenta características particulares que se plasmaron en las diversas estructuras construidas: estaciones, depósitos, talleres, refugios, apeaderos, lamparerías, tanques de agua y de combustible, nomencladores, cabinas de señales, garitas, sanitarios, servicios hospitalarios, casillas varias, viviendas para personal jerárquico y empleados de distintas categorías. Las variables estudiadas fueron tipo de construcción, estilo arquitectónico, materiales utilizados, tecnología aplicada, detalles ornamentales, red ferroviaria a la cual se integraba, entre otros. Por último, se consideró la valoración que se efectúa desde el presente hacia esta materialidad, registrándose el estado de conservación y deterioro de las estructuras remanentes, su integridad, la re-utilización y las prácticas contemporáneas de los edificios, con fines distintos a los cuales fueron concebidos. Este artigo trata do levantamento e análise preliminar dos restos materiais correspondentes ao fenômeno ferroviário, que pode ser observado na paisagem ecotonal da província de Buenos Aires. As tarefas se concentraram nas estações ferroviárias instaladas no final do século XIX e início do século XX nos municípios de Florentino Ameghino, Rivadavia, Trenque Lauquen, Guaminí, Adolfo Alsina, Puan, Coronel Suárez, Coronel Pringles, Saavedra e Tornquist . O fenômeno ferroviário deixou vestígios tanto no meio urbano quanto no rural, tornando-se um forte agente transformador da paisagem. Além disso, teve uma implicação fundamental na fundação e desenvolvimento das cidades da área, em alguns casos o declínio de ambos os processos (urbano e ferroviário) também se entrelaçaram. A materialidade ferroviária apresenta características particulares que se refletiram nas diversas estruturas construídas: estações, armazéns, oficinas, abrigos, paradas, lamparinas, tanques de água e combustível, nomencladores, cabines de sinalização, guaritas, sanitários, serviços hospitalares, cabines diversas, casas para pessoal hierárquico e funcionários de diferentes categorias. As variáveis ​​estudadas foram tipo de construção, estilo arquitetônico, materiais utilizados, tecnologia aplicada, detalhes ornamentais, malha ferroviária à qual estava integrada, entre outras.
