Description
Summary:The purpose was to analyze the effect of Trifluralina at normal or double dosis, on the biological properties of soil in the area of Manfredi, Provincia de Córdoba, Argentina, where groundnut is cultivated following a random parcels design. Density of aerobic celulolitic microorganisms, nitrogen-fixing (gen. Azotobacter) and nitrifying bacteria, effect on nodulation, on the overall biological activity and on the yield of crop, were evaluated. Statistical analysis did not show significant differences. So the conclusion was that Trifluralina at normal dosis, or double dosis to those recommended commercially, does not affect any of the parameters studied in relation to the microflora or the yield of crop in groundnut farming.
