It was obtenided a final ecuation, allowing estimate the monthly average temperature of soil at 20 cm depth departing from the maximun monthly average temperature of air, resulting very acceptable for subhumid and humid climate, but not for semiar'd and and climate of Argentine. |

Se ha desarrollado un modelo macroclimático con el objeto de estimar las temperaturas del suelo en condiciones de cobertura vegetal más o menos uniforme. El modelo comprende ecuaciones de regresión múltiple para cada mes y para cada profundidad de suelo (5, 10, 20, 50 y 100 cm). Los datos empleados se obtuvieron de registros publicados por el Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria. Las variables climáticas utilizadas son: temperatura del aire, precipitación, número de días con precipitación por año y un índice climático: la evapotranspiración potencial. Se obtuvo una ecuación final, que permite estimar la temperatura media mensual del suelo a 20 cm de profundidad a partir de la temperatura máxima media, mensual del aire, la que resulta muy aceptable para condiciones de climas sub-húmedos y húmedos, no así para climas áridos y semiáridos de Argentina.
