Conversaciones ins/urgentes, we organized together with the Instituto de Culturas Aborígenes (ICA) the event Habitar las lenguas. Workshop on Quechua, Mapuche and Guaraní languages and cultures. The workshop was held at the Museum of Anthropology of Córdoba (FFyH, UNC) on Wednesday, October 25. That is to say, in the month of the counter-festivity that, precisely, inaugurated the ICA thirty years ago in Córdoba.
This activity was conceived as an instance of joint organization between our Faculty and the ICA, two institutions that in recent years have strengthened enriching dialogues around the institutional work, on the one hand, and especially around rethinking traditionally Western and Europeanizing academic practices, on the other. These dialogues that have been calling us from different areas of the FFyH challenge us directly. It is in this sense that we proposed "to contribute to the decolonization of academic thought, from the visibility of some historically subalternized languages and cultures", as we wrote in the call. In this way, then, forty years after the return of democracy in Argentina, we thought of this workshop as the first activity on the way to the III Encounter. |

En el marco de la comisión abierta por los cuarenta años de democracia y camino al III Encuentro internacional: derechos lingüísticos como derechos humanos. Conversaciones ins/urgentes, organizamos junto con el Instituto de Culturas Aborígenes (ICA) el evento Habitar las lenguas. Taller de lenguas y culturas quechua, mapuce y guaraní. El taller se llevó a cabo en el Museo de Antropologías de Córdoba (FFyH, UNC) el día miércoles 25 de octubre. Es decir, en el mes del contrafestejo que, justamente, inaugurara el ICA hace ya treinta años en Córdoba. Esta actividad fue pensada como una instancia de organización conjunta entre nuestra Facultad y el ICA, dos instituciones que en los últimos años han fortalecido diálogos enriquecedores en torno al quehacer institucional, por un lado, y especialmente en torno a repensar las prácticas académicas tradicionalmente occidentales y europeizantes. Estos diálogos que nos vienen convocando desde diferentes áreas de la FFyH nos interpelan directamente. Es en ese sentido que propusimos “aportar a la descolonización del pensamiento académico, a partir de la visibilización de algunas lenguas y culturas históricamente subalternizadas”, como escribimos en la convocatoria. En ese andar, entonces, a cuarenta años de la vuelta de la democracia en Argentina, pensamos este taller como primera actividad camino al III Encuentro. Conversaciones ins/urgentes, organizamos, juntamente com o Instituto de Culturas Aborígenes (ICA), o evento Habitar las lenguas. Workshop sobre as línguas e culturas quíchua, mapuche e guarani. O workshop foi realizado no Museu de Antropologia de Córdoba (FFyH, UNC) na quarta-feira, 25 de outubro. Ou seja, no mês da contra-festa que, precisamente, inaugurou o ICA há trinta anos em Córdoba. Essa atividade foi concebida como uma instância de organização conjunta entre nossa Faculdade e o ICA, duas instituições que, nos últimos anos, fortaleceram diálogos enriquecedores sobre o trabalho institucional, por um lado, e especialmente sobre repensar práticas acadêmicas tradicionalmente ocidentais e europeizantes, por outro. Esses diálogos que têm nos reunido de diferentes áreas da FFyH nos desafiam diretamente. É nesse sentido que nos propusemos a "contribuir para a descolonização do pensamento acadêmico, a partir da visibilidade de algumas línguas e culturas historicamente subalternizadas", como escrevemos na chamada de trabalhos. Dessa forma, quarenta anos após o retorno da democracia na Argentina, pensamos neste workshop como a primeira atividade no caminho para o III Encuentro. Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
