From the Pedagogical Library, different specialists of the area (teachers, historians, communicators and artists) and the Popular University were summoned to jointly elaborate this material for children of the city, with the intention that they learn, from the legislation of the city, its history, the cultures that coexist today, and recognize themselves, mainly, as active citizens and participants of the society where they live, from a perspective of rights and gender. |

En el artículo se presenta el relato de una experiencia a partir de la elaboración de la Carta Orgánica de Colonia Caroya —versión para las infancias—, ciudad ubicada al norte de la provincia de Córdoba. Este proyecto fue iniciado por la Biblioteca Popular La Bicicleta, ubicada en la misma localidad, la cual pertenece a la Dirección de Desarrollo Curricular, Capacitación y Acompañamiento Institucional del Ministerio de Educación de la Provincia de Córdoba, y a su vez se inscribe en la Comisión Nacional de Bibliotecas Populares (CONABIP). Desde la Biblioteca La Bicicleta, se convocó a diferentes especialistas de la zona (docentes, historiadores, comunicadores y artistas) y a la Universidad Popular para que conjuntamente elaboraran este material destinado a niñxs de la ciudad, con la intención de que conozcan, a partir de la legislación de la ciudad, su historia, las culturas que hoy coexisten, y se reconozcan, principalmente, como ciudadanxs activxs y partícipes de la sociedad donde viven, desde una perspectiva de derechos y género.
