The objective was to demonstrate the factorial structure, reliability and convergent validity of the Resilience Scale (RS-14), Spanish version (Sánchez-Terruel and Robles-bello, 2014). The research was quantitative and instrumental. The sample consisted of 542 university students from Lima, aged between 18 and 40 years (SD = 4.21). The results found through the confirmatory factor analysis show the one-dimensional structure of the scale (χ2 / gl = 2.78, CFI = .95; TLI = .94; SRMR = .039; RMSEA = .057 [IC 90% .050 - .065 ]) with factor loadings greater than .40 and high internal consistency (ω = .94), likewise, the convergent validity evidence showed that ER-14 presents a negative relationship with depression (r = -. 481 *), anxiety (r = -. 378 *) and stress (r = -. 346 *) and a positive relationship (r = .466 *) with life satisfaction. In conclusion, the RS-14 presents adequate psychometric properties to measure resilience in Peruvian university students.
