La presente investigación de carácter historiográfico analiza la recepción de la Psicología Positiva en la Argentina en el período comprendido entre 1998 y 2012. Con tal propósito se realizó un estudio socio-bibliométrico de una muestra de publicaciones periódicas, considerando todos aquellos artículos que trataban temáticas relacionadas con el campo de la Psicología Positiva. Las seis revistas científicas examinadas fueron las siguientes: “Investigaciones en Psicología”, “Psicodebate. Psicología, Cultura y Sociedad”, “Perspectivas en Psicología. Revista de Psicología y Ciencias Afines”, “Fundamentos en Humanidades”, “Interdisciplinaria” y “Revista Argentina de Clínica Psicológica”. El trabajo puede ser considerado un estudio ex post facto retrospectivo, de acuerdo a la clasificación de Montero y León (2007). Los resultados del presente estudio bibliométrico permitirían confirmar que la Psicología Positiva fue tempranamente recepcionada en nuestro país, observándose tanto el anclaje internacional de la corriente principal liderada por Martin Seligman como la fuerte impronta de la figura de María Martina Casullo.
