Exactly solvable model of physical system exhibiting universal chaotic behavior /

A model of a simple nonlinear physics system, the driven diode resonator comprised of an oscillator, resistor, inductor, and diode in series, is shown to reduce exactly to a one-dimensional, noninvertible map.
