Placing the histories of archaeology (from Latin America)
Published 2020“…Finally, we propose a geography of the histories of archaeology, which overcomes the imagination of modern geography, to be sensitive to more fluid, open, and discontinuous spatialities, that have influenced the configuration of that we call archaeology today.…”

The museums of Buenos Aires last frontier and their narrative about indigenous peoples
Published 2013“…This regional space currently has a number of historical museums that make up a story about the indigenous peoples, the military campaigns undertaken for their submission, and about the local and national origin. Discussed here are the Puan and Trenque Lauquen cases, with special emphasis on the analysis of historical accounts that museums exhibit and have managed to crystallize in the collective imagination, as well as those topics never considered, among which the submission and subsequent trajectories of the aborigines of the region become the most notable example.…”

Hope, Political Credibility and Historicity: The Construction of Confidence and Mistrust in Vaccines and Vaccination Against Covid-19 in Argentina
Published 2024“…My aim is to show that these disputes can be read as updates of a specific historicity, that is, local ways of thinking and organizing the present in relation to schemes of the past that, in turn, make certain futures imaginable and admissible. My analysis is focused on the public discourse of leaders, legislators and politicians from different parties about vaccines and the vaccination plan until mid-2021. …”

Is it possible an ethical decision in the concentration camp? About Sophie’s choice
Published 2016“…The film Sophie’s Choice by Alan Pakula, alike the novel by the same name it is based on, presents us with a scenario that has been interpreted as a matter of decision-making when faced with an ethical dilemma (choosing between life and death regarding the main character’s own children) in Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps. In view of all the analyses that try to explain the issuesthat stem from ethical dilemmas, this paper, following the agambenean theory, argues that there is no such thing as ethical decision-making in concentration camps, given that the traditional legal order has been suspended, moral discernment has been blocked, and hence what does appearis behaviour that simply adapts itselfto the exceptional circumstances that prevail.…”
