film studies, in order to use it to analyze the way in which two traumatic events in contemporary Mexican history, namely, the massacre of students in the Plaza de las Tres Culturas in Mexico City on October 2, 1968, and the forced disappearance of 43 students from the "Raúl Isidro Burgos" Rural Normal School in Ayotzinapa on the night of September 26, 2014, are reworked in Isaac Ezban’s film Los parecidos, in the context of the violence generated by organized crime in contemporary Mexican society.…”
