Subadult representation in the bioarchaeological record from Quebrada de Humahuaca, Jujuy, Argentina
Published 2019“…The objective of this paper is evaluating subadult presence on the bioarchaeological record, in order to analyze the demographic profile of skeletal samples from Quebrada de Humahuaca (Jujuy, Argentina) during the Regional Development period (AD 900-1430). For this purpose, skeletal remains from 283 individuals both from museum collections recovered in the beginning of the 20th century (sample 1, n = 206), and from excavations conducted in the last 30 years (sample 2, n = 77) were studied. …”
