“…Recent research on the impact of digital technologies on music, from a social perspective, highlights the appropriation by musicians of these technologies and their democratizing effects in terms of access to the production and circulation of works.This article aims to investigate the relationships between new digital technologies and musicians participating in a rock festival in the Avellaneda district, located in the southern suburbs of the City of Buenos Aires, presenting the particularities of this relationship in terms of representations and uses, as well as in dialogue with the revised bibliography.Methodologically, the research adopts a qualitative character based on conducting surveys, interviews and observations during workshops shared with social actors, that interprets them from a critical perspective. …”
