    “…Recognizing the existence of biases in the composition of the sample, resulting from the historical context of their formation, the observed recurrence of bifacial artifacts and recycling processes, as well as changes in bifaces, are interpreted as denoting the existence of non-synchronous manufacturing and use activities. From these data the hypothesis made is that these surface sites might have been used as stone tool caches, that is, storage spaces of raw material within the mobility circuit of hunter-gatherer societies.…”
