Its translation is expounded for the first time after almost 3400 years of silence. Also, an interpretation of its symbolism is presented in the general context of the statues´  niche.

El trabajo de conservación en la capilla de culto de TT49 ha descubierto no sólo los vívidos colores de su pilastra sino también las columnas de textos ocultas hasta hoy por una gruesa capa de hollín. Si bien la publicación de Davies describe su iconografía, apenas unas palabras sueltas ubicadas detrás de la diosa de Occidente pudieron ser leídas. En este trabajo se presenta el estado actual de la pilastra tras los trabajos de limpieza y se expone por primera vez su traducción después de casi 3400 años de silencio.
