El registro arqueológico como sabemos no es indicador directo de las actividades cotidianas, se trata de un registro que generalmente es desechado, abandonado o dejo de ser utilizado o reciclado según sea la condición material de dicho registro. De ahí que se utilizan los conceptos de contextos de deposición y contextos socio-culturales. En este caso analizaremos el correspondiente contexto de deposición del sitio popularmente llamado La Basurita, antiguo Vaciadero de Basuras de la ciudad de Rosario. Si bien en este lugar están los desechos producidos por la ciudad entre los años 1870-1890 en el mismo lugar desde la instalación del Vaciadero una numerosa y anónima población vivió e interactuó con los desperdicios ahí arrojados, produciendo modificaciones en el registro ; que si no tuviéramos en cuenta esta situación podríamos interpretarlos equivocadamente. O registro arqueológico, como sabemos, não é um indicador direto das atividades diárias, é um registro que geralmente é descartado, abandonado ou não mais utilizado ou reciclado, dependendo da condição material do referido registro. Assim, são utilizados os conceitos de contextos de deposição e contextos sócio-culturais. Neste caso analisaremos o contexto de deposição correspondente do site popularmente chamado La Basurita, o antigo Lixão da cidade de Rosário.
