|a EI maxilar inferior es un hueso impar, central, móvil y simétrico. La cara posterointema es la que merece mayor referencia para este trabajo. Aquí se encuentra el canal milohioideo, por donde discurre el nervio lingual, rama terminal del Nervio dentario inferior. La mucosa lingual es sumamente frágil y altamente irrigada al igual que todo el piso de la boca. Además de presentar distintas inserciones musculares. Teniendo en cuenta esto, que es demostrado por las distintas disecciones realizadas en maxilares cadavéricos y mas, se resolvió luego de estudiar los distintos casos clínicos y ayudados por técnicas de diagnostico por imágenes, seleccionar aquellos que fueran inherentes a este Trabajo de Tesis Doctoral: "Abordaje Quirúrgico por vía Lingual de distintas Patologías relacionadas a dicha zona". Se terminaron seleccionando 18 casos, (De 27 aproximadamente), los cuales fueron operados entre Agosto de 2001 a Agosto de 2005, encontraremos entre otros: "Dientes supernumerarios, dientes heterotópicos, dientes ectópicos, liberación y la posterior tracción de elementos retenidos, (Caninos), torus mandibulares, (En pacientes: dentados, parcialmente dentados y edéntulos), tumores odontogénicos, (Odontóma Complejo), épulis, frenotomia lingual y ránula. Todos ellos abordados por dicha vía, con una evolución muy apropiada y altamente positiva, y postoperatorios sin ningún tipo de riesgos quirúrgicos. Vale destacar que este sitio de abordaje es tan seguro como comprometido, si no se siguen las normas mas arriba establecidas. Este trabajo llevó varios años de evolución y evaluación, de corazón deseo, sea de gran utilidad para los que amamos la docencia y para quienes la reciben, y sienten día a día la necesidad de investigar, sin olvidar que trabajamos con, y sobre seres humanos.

|a The inferior maxillary is an uneven bone, central, mobile and symmetrical. The posterointerna face is the one that deserves the greatest reference for this project. Here we find de milohioideo channel, through which the lingual nerve runs, terminal branch of the inferior dentary nerve. The mucosa lingual is extremely fragile and highly irrigated just as the entire floor of the mouth. In addition (it presents) to presenting different muscular insertions. Keeping this in mind, which is demonstrated by the different dissections realized on cadaveric maxillaries and others, it was resolved after studying different clinic cases and with the help of diagnose techniques through images, to select those that were inherent to this Doctoral Thesis Project: "Chirurgical boarding via lingual of different pathologies related to such zone". 18 cases were selected (out of approximately 27), which were operated between August 2001 and August 2005, we found, among others: "Teeth supernumeraries, teeth heterotópicos, teeth ectópicos, liberation y la posterior traction de elements retentions, (Canines), torus mandibularis, (En patients: toothed, partiality toothed y without tooth), odontogenic tumors,(Complex Odontoma), epulis, lingual frenotomy and ranula. All of these were preformed through that via, with a very positive evolution and postops without any type of surgical risks. It is worth mentioning that this boarding site is as safe as it is risky, if the above established norms are not followed. This work took various years in the making and evaluation, from the heart I desire that it is of great use for those of us who love teaching and for those who receive it, and feel day to day the necessity to investigate, without forgetting that we work with and on human beings.
