Este artículo pretende realizar un aporte al cuerpo docente sobre lo provechoso de incorporar en las actuales propuestas educativas el uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC). Con este propósito se analiza, desde la experiencia docente, la implementación de las mismas en los diversos espacios institucionales. A la vez que se reflexiona sobre la necesidad de pensar que los procesos de enseñanza en una comunidad virtual, posibilitan a los sujetos de aprendizaje salirse de los límites del “aula tradicional” integrando sus conocimientos a la realidad social en constante transformación.
