Description
Summary:The effect of the application of Trifluralin in normal and double doses on certain biological properties of the soil was analyzed in the area of Manfredi, Province of Córdoba (Argentina), cultivated with peanut and randomized block design. The density of groups of aerobic cellulolytic microorganisms, free-living nitrogen fixers (genus Azotobacter) and nitrifiers was evaluated, as well as their effect on nodulation, global biological activity and crop yield. Statistical analysis showed no significant differences. It was concluded that Trifluralin at normal and double the commercially recommended doses did not affect any of the studied parameters of the microflora or the yield of the peanut crop.
