Description
Summary:A study of the variability of morphometric and morphological characters of a population (females and larvae) of the phytophagous nematode Criconemella Curvata (Raski, 1952) Luc & Raski, 1981 from Córdoba, Argentina was carried out. This variability was determined on the basis of: statistical analysis of each morphometric character and analysis of the relative frequency of each morphological character within the population. In the particular case of larvae, it is shown that the use of the length of the conical portion of the est Tete allows discriminating with precision the different stages. A critical study of the importance of each group of characters in the definition of the species was carried out.
