Se describe una técnica que permite detectar rápidamente la presencia de larvas infestantes de nematodos entomófagos en suelo. Esta técnica es el resultado de la conjugación de los procedimientos clásicos en la extracción de nematodos del suelo y de la producción de entomófagos en el laboratorio. El huésped, auxiliar utilizado es G. mellonelia. La totalidad de los resultados se obtienen al cuarto día de comenzada la experiencia, teniendo al segundo más del 50 % de la información. La técnica descripta se compra con la ideada por Bedding y Akhurst utilizando suelo infestado artificialmente con N. carpocapsae en concentraciones conocidas.
