Wounds and tcothp:ck methods of inoculation with F. oxysporum f. sp. tuberosi, were the most, effective among all the methods tested. |

En cultivos de papa de la zona hortícola que rodea la ciudad de Córdoba se observó un marchitamiento total o parcial de las plantas . Estos síntomas de la parte aérea estaban asociados, en algunos casos a necrosis de tejidos vasculares y parenquimáticos adyacentes del tallo o necrosis total de cuero o a cancros que se mostraban a distintas alturas del tallo. En otras ocasiones las plantas presentaban necrosis en raicillas , raíces, cuello, estolones y tubérculos. En el primer caso se demostró a través de pruebas de patogenicidad que el agente causal era Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. tuberosi Sn, et H. En el segundo,se estableció la presencia de Rhizoctonia solani Kühn. De los métodos de inoculación con Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. tuberosi Sn.et H., los que resultaron más efectivos, fueron los realizados mediante heridas a distintas alturas del tallo, con escarbadientes insertados en el cuello de las plantas.
