Overall, the results are encouraging and can be considered an acceptable option to measure professional interests. |

Este estudio tuvo como objetivos a) traducir los ítems del RIASEC-IPP al idioma español y analizar sus propiedades psicométricas, b) verificar la estructura interna y confiabilidad de las escalas, y c) obtener evidencias externas de validez (convergente, de grupos contrastados por género y predictiva). Los resultados obtenidos revelan que las dos escalas (A y B) tienen una adecuada estructura y que puede ser utilizada con precisión para evaluar los seis tipos básicos de personalidad propuesto por Holland. Adicionalmente, se verificaron las mismas propiedades psicométricas de los ocho mejores marcadores de las escalas de Actividades con la finalidad de desarrollar una forma unificada. En general, los resultados alcanzados son alentadores y puede considerarse una aceptable opción para medir los intereses profesionales.
