The most original thing is that only one complete copy of this work is preserved in the University of Cordoba, another in the possession of the Director of the Census, Dr. Latzina, and perhaps some more in the possession of other people, because the printer Sti1ler withdrew the edition, for lack of payment, as it was said at the time. Rewriting what Mr. Martínez has written in the Introduction, he has sent us from Paraná, his current residence, the present chapter. |

Con motivo del Censo de 1889, levantado en la Provincia de Córdoba, se encomendó la parte histórica al señor Mariano A. Pelliza, la biográfica y bibliográfica al señor Benigno T. Martínez, la geográfica al doctor Arturo Schelstrong y la climatológica al doctor Osear Doering. Estos trabajos constituyen el tomo 1 de 464 páginas en 464 páginas en 4.º. publicado por Stiller y Laas. Buenas Aires, 1890. Lo más original del caso es que de dicha obra sólo se conserva un ejemplar completo en la Universidad de Córdoba, otro en poder del Director del Censo doctor Latzina y quizá alguno más en poder de otras personas, por haber retirado la edición el impresor Sti1ler, por falta de pago, según se dijo entonces. Rehaciendo lo que ha escrito el señor Martínez en la Introducción, nos ha remitido de Paraná, su residencia actual, el presente capítulo.
