description | The effects of different types of verbal consequences were evaluated in second order conditional discrimination tasks on creative behavior emergence in four experimental groups. In the first group, it was specified only if the responses were correct or incorrect. For the second group, it was specified the particular stimulus selected and if that response was correct or incorrect. For the third group, it was specified the relationship between selected comparative stimulus (CoS) and the matching stimulus (MS) and if the answer was correct or incorrect. For the fourth group, it was specified if the relation MS-CoS was equal or not to the relation between the selector stimuli (SS) and if the response was correct or incorrect. Post- training transference and creative behavior tests were performed. The results showed that the different types of verbal consequences promoted contact with different aspects of the performance in the task, being partially relational consequences which promoted higher percentages in transference and creative behavior tests. The conceptual status of the verbal consequences is discussed. |

Se evaluaron los efectos de distintos tipos de consecuencias verbales en tareas de discriminación condicional de segundo orden sobre la emergencia de comportamiento creativo en cuatro grupos de estudiantes. En el primer grupo las consecuencias sólo especificaban si las respuestas eran correctas o incorrectas; en el segundo especificaban el estímulo seleccionado y si la respuesta era correcta o incorrecta; en el tercer grupo especificaban la relación entre el estímulo comparativo (ECO) seleccionado y el estímulo muestra (EM) y si la respuesta era correcta o incorrecta; en el cuarto grupo especificaban si la relación EM-ECO era igual o no a la relación entre los estímulos selectores (ES) y si la respuesta era correcta o incorrecta. Después del entrenamiento se realizaron pruebas de transferencia y de comportamiento creativo. El grupo cuyas consecuencias especificaban la relación entre el ECO y el EM tuvo el mejor desempeño tanto en el entrenamiento como en las pruebas de transferencia y de comportamiento creativo. Se discute el estatuto conceptual de las consecuencias verbales.
