By focusing on the conjunction of inhabiting and the common, we appeal to the two agglutinators of meaning that cross and are sedimented in academic reflections and practices of various social and political collectives, linked to their quests to build intelligibility frameworks and enable creative responses to the complex context that cross the different realities of our America. In this way, combining both in an inhabiting of the common invited to generate processes of reflexivity -situated- focusing on the way in which these two terms meet or misencounter, travel and transform through the different geographies and redefine each other, from more or less institutionalized spaces such as extension projects and practices. In this line, the dossier contains contributions in various sections of the journal (here presented as part of a whole), which from various narratives point to the way in which inhabiting and the common are defined, co-defined and redefined by diverse collectives - environmentalists, socio-territorial, indigenous, feminists, peasants, neighborhoods, neighborhoods, among others - in their daily activities and in their encounters and interpellations with various actors.

Este dossier tuvo como objetivo convocar contribuciones que pudieran dar cuenta desde variadas narrativas y perspectivas lo que se concibe y practica como extensión en diversos contextos, con especial atención a las líneas de pensamiento-acción desde las que tejemos nuestra posicionalidad junto con otrxs, en pos de la construcción de un hacer en común -en-, -desde- y -de- la extensión universitaria. Al hacer foco en la conjunción del habitar y lo común, apelamos a dos aglutinadores de sentido que atraviesan y se sedimentan en reflexiones académicas y prácticas de diversos colectivos sociales y políticos, vinculado a sus búsquedas por construir entramados de inteligibilidad y posibilitar respuestas creativas al complejo contexto que atraviesan las distintas realidades de nuestra américa. De esta manera, combinar a ambos en un habitar lo común invitaba a generar procesos de reflexividad -situados- haciendo foco en la manera en que estos dos términos se encuentran o desencuentran, viajan y transforman por las diversas geografías y, se redefinen mutuamente, desde espacios más o menos institucionalizados como son los proyectos y prácticas de extensión. En esta línea, el dossier contiene contribuciones en diversas secciones de la revista (aquí presentadas como parte de un todo), que desde variadas narrativas apuntan a la manera en que el habitar y lo común son definidos, co-definidos y redefinidos por colectivos diversos -ambientalistas, socioterritoriales, indígenas, feministas, campesinos, barriales, vecinales, entre otros- en el hacer cotidiano y en sus encuentros e interpelaciones con actores variados. O objetivo deste dossiê foi solicitar contribuições que pudessem dar conta, a partir de diferentes narrativas e perspectivas, do que é concebido e praticado como extensão em diferentes contextos, com atenção especial para as linhas de pensamento-ação a partir das quais tecemos nossa posicionalidade junto com outros, em busca da construção de um fazer comum -na-, -da- e -da- extensão universitária. Ao nos concentrarmos na conjunção do habitar e do comum, apelamos para os dois aglutinadores de sentido que atravessam e se sedimentam nas reflexões e práticas acadêmicas de vários coletivos sociais e políticos, vinculados às suas buscas para construir estruturas de inteligibilidade e possibilitar respostas criativas ao contexto complexo que atravessa as diferentes realidades de nossa América. Dessa forma, a combinação dos dois em um habitar do comum nos convidou a gerar processos de reflexividade - situados - com foco na maneira como esses dois termos se encontram ou se desencontram, viajam e se transformam em diferentes geografias e se redefinem mutuamente, a partir de espaços mais ou menos institucionalizados, como projetos e práticas de extensão. Nessa linha, o dossiê contém contribuições em várias seções da revista (apresentadas aqui como parte de um todo), que a partir de várias narrativas apontam para a forma como o habitar e o comum são definidos, co-definidos e redefinidos por diversos coletivos - ambientalistas, socioterritoriais, indígenas, feministas, camponeses, bairros, vizinhos, entre outros - em suas atividades cotidianas e em seus encontros e interpelações com uma variedade de atores.
