Este ensayo reflexiona sobre la idea de lugar de habla en tanto emplazamiento identitario y cognitivo desde el cual diversos sujetos construyen sus posiciones y legitiman sus intervenciones en la esfera pública. En particular, se busca analizar las potencialidades y límites del discurso de las ciencias sociales y su relación con el «dónde» y el «quién» del sujeto sociológico como productor de un conocimiento siempre situado y contextual, condicionado pero no mecánicamente determinado por la posicionalidad de quienes investigan los sentidos de lo social.
