especializadas y actualizadas en todas las áreas del conocimiento; lo que permite una
amplia visibilidad y garantiza el acceso al patrimonio documental de la Universidad.
Se encuentra disponible para toda la comunidad académica: estudiantes, docentes,
egresados e investigadores.
Si formas parte de la comunidad de la UNC también podés solicitar préstamos de material,
a cualquier biblioteca universitaria, utilizando el servicio de préstamo interbibliotecario,
independientemente de la facultad a la que pertenezcas, la carrera que curses o la cátedra

This article examines the proposals for higher education in the government program of Apruebo Dignidad, which led Gabriel Boric to the presidency of Chile, addressing three critical dimensions: endogenous and exogenous privatization, defined by Ball and Youdell (2007), and the economization of higher education according to Brown (2017). In a regional context marked by the end of the «Cycle of Challenge to Neoliberalism in Latin America» (CINAL) and the possible advent of a new progressive cycle, the analysis highlights the substantial privatization of the Chilean educational system compared to other Latin American countries and questions the effectiveness of the proposed measures to alter this dynamic. In this line, the proposals would not significantly modify the existing forms of privatization nor move away from an economized approach. Both continuities and ruptures with previous policies are identified, but it is concluded that, although there are efforts to moderate some aspects of privatization, the government program’s proposals do not imply a significant transformation of the higher education system in Chile.
