En el presente estudio realizaremos una indagación sobre la función de la femme fatale y el femicidio en la filmografía de Fritz Lang, a través de una lectura de los aspectos éticos, morales y religiosos y de su propia concepción como autor. Para esto llevaremos a cabo una comparación con un largometraje clásico de Jean Renoir que posteriormente reversionó Lang, analizando la cuestión de la cosificación del cuerpo femenino y la frustración burguesa por no alcanzar la mercantilización de su deseo. En esta comparación veremos el modo en que la tragedia y la parodia son modalidades de adecuación y naturalización de la violencia patriarcal.
