The article discusses a number of recent transformations around global capitalism, marked by the transition to an informational mode of development. We will hold the proposition that the informational deployment presents an ambivalent reality, which shows a series of tensions and disputes present today. They manifest themselves in two sides or realities that attract the attention of many researchers. We understand them as new scenarios of domination and new scenarios of dispute. There are certain points of confluence around the centrality of knowledge, immaterial labor and informational goods in current accumulation processes. We thus speak of informational, flexible and cognitive capitalism, trying to highlight different aspects of it.On the other hand, we review three scenarios of dispute often interrelated: the dispute for the democratization of the virtual space as a new public space, the dispute over forms of decentralized organization of production and autonomy of immaterial labor, and the dispute over forms of ownership and appropriation governing informational goods. Based on this, various groups and organizations contribute to a problematization of the dominant forms of understanding technology and its social significance.
