Her happy and peaceful life is shattered when a woman is murdered and the main suspect is her husband. The protagonist not only finds out that her husband was cheating on her but that he could also be a murderer. The familiar becomes strange and disturbing. The series testifies about the emergence of this dimension for each of the characters and about what they do in the face of anguish. |

En su texto: “Lo ominoso” Freud se pregunta cómo es posible que lo familiar devenga ominoso, terrorífico, y en qué condiciones eso ocurre. Para responder a esta pregunta me serviré de una serie norteamericana llamada The undoing. La trama versa sobre la historia de una psicóloga de parejas que está casada hace muchos años con un médico oncólogo infantil y tienen un hijo. Su vida feliz y tranquila se deshace cuando una mujer es asesinada y el principal sospechoso es el marido. La protagonista no sólo se entera que su marido la engañaba sino que también podría ser un asesino. Lo familiar se vuelve extraño e inquietante. La serie testimonia sobre el surgimiento de esta dimensión para cada uno de los personajes y sobre lo que hacen frente a la angustia.
