For this reason, this article refers to how to make the right to communication effective and, also, how it requires the State to develop equity policies that guarantee the social and cultural recognition of all sensitivities and narratives. |

Pensar hoy las infancias y adolescencias exige tener en cuenta el lugar que ocupan en la sociedad, su estatus político y ciudadano, su visibilidad social, su inclusión o exclusión de la agenda de las políticas públicas y el ejercicio de sus derechos comunicacionales. Disfrutar de contenidos de calidad, participar en el diseño de esos contenidos, ser representados y representadas de manera honesta y respetuosa, opinar y decidir sobre los asuntos que le atañen y que sus voces y miradas estén presentas en los medios audiovisuales y digitales amplían sus capacidades de contribuir a a lo común y enriquecen la vida de toda la sociedad. Este artículo explora cómo hacer efectivo el derecho a la comunicación y, también, cómo ello exige que el Estado desarrolle políticas de equidad que garanticen el reconocimiento social y cultural de todas las sensibilidades y narrativas.
