Se trajo a la prensa la cuestión de las derivaciones de 'la actual guerra. Los escritores que se apuran a darla por concluida, proyectan de modos distintos el epílogo. A mi juico, no es posible vaticinar, ni en cuanto al epílogo, ni siquiera en cuanto a lo inmediato, o sea a las consecuencias de estas atroces ofensivas: sólo se puede estudiar lo que se refiere a instituciones políticas que deban ser sustituidas o modificadas, dando por sentado que es a las existentes a las que hay que atribuir las causas de este horrible cataclismo de la humanidad, en el cual ha sucumbido ya la mayoría de los más óptimos seres humanos.
