Description
Summary:The lack of brief and valid instruments to assess psychotherapy outcomes poses a major challenge for routine measurement in clinical practice in Argentina. This study examines the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the CORE-10 (Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation-10), a tool for routine assessment of psychotherapy quality, evaluating domains like well-being, symptoms, functioning, and risk. A sample of 343 participants completed the adapted CORE-10 and additional measures of depression and anxiety. Internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach's alpha and ordinal alpha, alongside corrected item-total correlations. To examine validity, a confirmatory factor analysis was conducted, and external validity was explored through correlations with other measures and comparisons of CORE-10 scores between individuals who received psychotherapy in the past year and those who did not. Results demonstrated reliability and validity, indicating that the CORE-10 is a valuable instrument for psychotherapy assessment in Argentina.
