The Psychosocial Risk Management approach is key to improving the ability to respond to an emergency, preventing possible emotional consequences in the affected people, where active participation of the community is essential. |

En el presente trabajo se pretende dar a conocer las diferentes intervenciones que ha desempeñado el Equipo de Gestión Psicosocial de Riesgos en Emergencias y Desastres (GPR) perteneciente a la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, a partir de los incendios en los meses de Agosto-Noviembre del 2020, en la Provincia de Córdoba. La situación de emergencia sanitaria (COVID- 19), implicó nuevos desafíos en las intervenciones en terreno del quehacer de la psicología. Las acciones fueron realizadas en contexto de Aislamiento Social, Preventivo y Obligatorio (ASPO), y de Distanciamiento Social, Preventivo y Obligatorio (DISPO). A partir de esta experiencia surgió el siguiente interrogante ¿Cómo se ha desarrollado la función extensionista en contexto de pandemia? El abordaje de la Gestión Psicosocial de Riesgos, es clave para mejorar la capacidad de respuesta ante una emergencia, previniendo posibles consecuencias emocionales en las personas afectadas, donde la participación activa de la comunidad es fundamental.
