The present work aims at presenting the different interventions carried out by the Psychosocial Risk Management Team in Emergencies and Disasters belonging to the School of Psychology of the National University of Córdoba, during the fires in the months of August-November of 2020, in the Province of Córdoba and the global health emergency situation due to covid 19. The health emergency situation implied new challenges in interventions in the field of psychology. The actions were carried out in the context of Social, Preventive and Compulsory Isolation (ASPO), and of Social, Preventive and Obligatory Distancing (D.I.S.P.O). From this experience the following question arose: How has university outreach function developed in the context of a pandemic?
The Psychosocial Risk Management approach is key to improving the ability to respond to an emergency, preventing possible emotional consequences in the affected people, where active participation of the community is essential.
