description The aim of this study was to adapt the semantic and pragmatic dimensions of the Batería del Lenguaje Objetiva y Criterial (revised screening version) for its use in argentinian children and teenagers (BLOC-SR AR). The cross-cultural adaptation was conducted in three phases: 1. linguistic probe: group interviews (n=6) were conducted to evince the most suitable lexical and morphosyntactic structures for the cordobesian context; 2. experts committee: a multidisciplinary committee was constituted to discuss the equivalence and adequacy of the changes; 3. pre-test: 49 participants were interviewed to assess the difficulty, interest, application time and comprehension of the adapted version. From the analysis of linguistic acceptability and practical and conceptual equivalence emerged the semantic and pragmatic dimensions of the BLOC-SR-AR, which has shown to be equivalent, adequate, applicable and comprehensible. Further works are needed to evaluate the psychometric properties of the instrument.

Con el objetivo de adaptar culturalmente los módulos de semántica y pragmática de la Batería del Lenguaje Objetiva y Criterial (versión screening revisada) para su aplicación en población infantojuvenil argentina (BLOC-SR AR) se realizó este trabajo en tres instancias: sondeo lingüístico (n = 6) para evidenciar el léxico y las estructuras morfosintácticas propias de la variedad del español cordobés; revisión de expertas para discutir la equivalencia y adecuación de las modificaciones; y pruebas de comprensión (n = 49) para evaluar la aplicabilidad y comprensión de los ítems. Del análisis de la aceptabilidad lingüística y equivalencia práctica y conceptual resultó la versión adaptada de los módulos de semántica y pragmática de la BLOC-SR. La BLOC-SR AR se valoró como equivalente, adecuada, aplicable y comprensible para el contexto de Córdoba Argentina. Futuros trabajos deberán constatar las propiedades psicométricas del instrumento en poblaciones comunitarias y clínicas.
