| description | The “Intercultural Meeting and Dialogue” consisted of a space for reflection and debate organized by Mbya Guaraní students from the Bachelor of Social Work of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the National University of Misiones (UNaM). Within the framework of the Extension Program “Extension as a tool for Inclusion and Articulation of the Public University with the Region”, the meeting was open and free of charge to all the public. Took place in the Multiple Use Room of the “Juan Figueredo Building”, On October 3, 2019. The proposal of the meeting consisted in the projection of short films from the audiovisual archive of the Initiative for the Eradication of Racism in Higher Education, a line of work of the UNESCO Chair “Higher Education and Indigenous and Afro-descendant Peoples in Latin America” (National University of Tres de Febrero - UNTREF); and the audiovisual production of the mbya film collective “Ara Pyau” who presented the short film “Somos de la Tierra”. These projections were intended as motivators for subsequent dialogue and reflection on their message, as well as exchanges with members of indigenous and Afro-descendant communities about the difficulties they are experiencing in the province of Misiones (Argentina), and in perspective, other members of these communities in the country, on its insertion and passage through the formal educational system of the dominant society. |

El “Encuentro y Diálogo Intercultural” consistió en un espacio de reflexión y debate organizado por estudiantes mbya guaraní de la Licenciatura en Trabajo Social de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de Misiones (UNaM). En el marco del Programa de Extensión “La extensión como herramienta de inclusión y articulación de la universidad pública con la región”, el encuentro de acceso abierto y gratuito a todo el público, tuvo lugar en el Salón de Usos Múltiples del Edificio “Juan Figueredo”, el 3 de octubre de 2019. La propuesta del encuentro consistió en la proyección de cortometrajes del archivo audiovisual de la Iniciativa para la Erradicación del Racismo en la Educación Superior, una línea de trabajo de la Cátedra UNESCO “Educación Superior y Pueblos Indígenas y Afrodescendientes en América Latina” (Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero - UNTREF); y de la producción audiovisual del colectivo de cine mbya “Ara Pyau” quienes presentaron el cortometraje “Somos de la Tierra”. Estas proyecciones se pensaron como motivadoras del posterior diálogo y reflexión acerca de su mensaje, como así también intercambios con los miembros de comunidades indígenas y afrodescendientes sobre las dificultades que atraviesan en la provincia de Misiones (Argentina), y en perspectiva, otros miembros de estas comunidades del país, sobre su inserción y paso por el sistema educativo formal de la sociedad dominante. O "Encuentro y Diálogo Intercultural" consistiu em um espaço de reflexão e debate organizado por mbya guaraní estudantes do Bacharelado em Serviço Social da Faculdade de Humanidades e Ciências Sociais da Universidade Nacional de Misiones (UNaM). No âmbito do Programa de Extensão "Extensão como ferramenta de inclusão e articulação da universidade pública com a região", o encontro, aberto e gratuito a todo o público, aconteceu no Salão Multiuso do Edifício "Juan Figueredo", em 3 de outubro de 2019. A proposta da reunião consistiu na exibição de curtas-metragens do arquivo audiovisual da Iniciativa para a Erradicação do Racismo no Ensino Superior, uma linha de trabalho da Cátedra UNESCO "Ensino Superior e Povos Indígenas e Afro-descendentes na América Latina" (Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero - UNTREF); e a produção audiovisual do coletivo de cinema mbya "Ara Pyau" que apresentou o curta-metragem "Somos de la Tierra". Essas triagens foram consideradas como motivadoras do diálogo e reflexão subseqüentes sobre sua mensagem, assim como o intercâmbio com membros de comunidades indígenas e afrodescendentes sobre as dificuldades pelas quais estão passando na província de Misiones (Argentina), e em perspectiva, outros membros dessas comunidades no país, sobre sua inserção e passagem pelo sistema educacional formal da sociedade dominante.
