Description
Summary:Organizational sustainability, conceived as the balanced or tense relationships among economic, social and environmental dimensions, is a concept that has been addressed by the Global Value Chain [GVC] approach from different perspectives. The purpose of this work is to develop a conceptual framework that integrates some of these perspectives, organized in three groups: managerial, institutional and critical. After a literature review of the most relevant theoretical approaches on sustainability in GVC, a conceptual framework was constructed, which complements and moderates the traditional tenets in upgrading assessment in GVC, concluding that an integrate analysis makes a contribution over the separate perspectives.
