Description
Summary:The aim of this work is to continue with the validation of the International Affective Pictures System (IAPS), a technique of induction of emotions in an experimental context, and thus provide the normative data obtained in the Argentine population. In the present work the scores of the images that form sets 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 15 of the IAPS are presented. In this way, this article complements the validation of sets 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 14 already published (Irrazabal, Aranguren, Zaldua, & Di Giuliano, 2015). Participants were 646 university students, who scoring in the three emotional dimensions (valence, arousal and control) a total of 412 images belonging to different semantic fields. Similar to previous studies, the images are distributed in the affective space in the form of a boomerang, showing results consistent with the original version of the IAPS as well as validations published in several countries.
