description | This paper presents a study about a blended learning course for continuous training in a work training center in Colombia. The methodology was quantitative, non- experimental design; the sample was 40 students. Treatment or intervention was a blended course, and two questionnaires were used data collecting tools. The analysis focused on investigating the experience of students in the blended course; this was useful in guiding the actions of the institution for permanent implementation of the modality. The findings show a high level of acceptance of the modality by students, demonstrating satisfaction at having achieved their goals in the course and achieving good grades. Also, an important discovery was to understand the crucial role of the teacher to the success of an innovative educational model. |

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la impartición de un curso-taller modalidad b- learning en un centro de formación y educación vocacional de Colombia. La metodología fue cuantitativa, con diseño no experimental; la muestra fue de 40 estudiantes. El tratamiento o intervención aplicada fue un curso semipresencial y, como instrumento, se utilizaron dos cuestionarios de opción múltiple. El análisis se centró en indagar la experiencia de los estudiantes en el curso semipresencial, lo cual fue útil en función de orientar las acciones de la institución para la implementación permanente de la modalidad b-learning. Los hallazgos muestran un alto nivel de aceptación de la modalidad por los estudiantes, lo cual evidencia una satisfacción por haber logrado sus metas en el curso y buenas calificaciones. Asimismo, un hallazgo relevante fue comprender el papel decisivo que desempeña el docente para lograr el éxito de un modelo educativo innovador.
