In the framework of digital culture, it is necessary to update the knowledge of education professionals in disruptive methodologies. The article presents design thinking as an alternative approach for the planning and developing of a training device for higher-level non-university teachers. The strategies to design and prototype the device are detailed as well as the evaluative research that was the starting point to generate innovation based on the users’ needs. |

La sociedad actual demanda permanentemente soluciones a problemas complejos, en muchos casos, los procesos de búsqueda de las soluciones no se encasillan en los procesos cognitivos tradicionales. En el marco de la cultura digital, se hace necesaria la actualización de los conocimientos de los profesionales de la educación en metodologías disruptivas. El artículo presenta el pensamiento de diseño como un enfoque alternativo para planificar y desarrollar un dispositivo de capacitación para docentes de nivel superior no universitario. Se detallan las estrategias para diseñar y prototipar el dispositivo como también la investigación evaluativa que fue el punto de partida para generar innovación sobre la base de las necesidades de los usuarios.
