description In recent years, our environment has faced the reemergence of endemoepidemic viral diseases, such as Dengue, Zika, Chicungunya and, recently, Yellow Fever, transmitted by the Aedes spp vector. In all of them, the time elapsed between the appearance of the index case and the clinical-epidemiological response is vital to contain the outbreak and to stop the transmission. However, ordinarily, the response time of the health team averages between 7 and 10 days. In order to shorten this time frame, an application for mobile devices was designed to notify febrile cases in real time by means of a self-referencing and geolocation system. It was implemented in Jesús María and other localities of influence through outreach actions that comprised the use of the application and different communication and education activities for the surveillance of these diseases, having as recipients of such actions the health team and the whole community.

It was implemented in Jesús María and other localities of influence through outreach actions that comprised the use of the application and different communication and education activities for the surveillance of these diseases, having as recipients of such actions the health team and the whole community.
