Description
Summary:This paper presents the preliminary results of the outreach project "Legal Clinic on the Right to Habitat", which started at the School of Law - UNMdP - in 2017. The Clinic  entails   innovative and hands-on work, which fosters linkage  between the university sphere and the municipal sphere within the National University of Mar del Plata scope of influence. The theoretical framework of the proposal employs a pedagogical and strategic notion of litigation, conceived of as a tool for social transformation. The right to habitat is also analyzed as a constitutive part of the more encompassing right to the city, while the importance of municipal public policies, in terms of their access and enjoyment, and the transversality of the gender perspective, favoring an approach to such perspective, are also addressed.
