Summary:During the dictatorships in the '70s, in Argentina and Uruguay, the clandestine militancy of the members of the Communist Party of Uruguay in Buenos Aires was a challengenot only in the political activity and in the organizational structure, but also in everyday life, family life and work. Men and women with different responsibilities had to learn and actunknown behaviors in strange territories, establish communication forms with previously unknown codes, develop a new knowledge and know-how. There serch of these experiences, based on testimonies, contributes to problematize scenarios, actors and the conditions of a subject which is not spoken.
