Description
Summary:In this article we present the partial results produced in the first stage of the research project which takes place in three geographical areas of Argentina: Buenos Aires, Rosario and Córdoba. This project focuses on television shows and proposes an articulated research in three dimensions: content analysis, reception and professional routines. During the first period of research, executed in 2016, we have focused on the analysis of the audiences, investigating the relevance that the viewers grant to this type of programs (and / or segments), considering the ways in which the gender, age and class cleavages are linked to the ways in which subjects give meaning to content. This paper focuses on the perceptions of the audiences on topics related to gender and sexualities addressed in these programs.
