This first phase aims to relate the technological aspects of design and the fundamental conditions of teaching virtual learning object (VLO). Methodological design was used to study instrumental case where assessment is available to establish the constituent elements of VLO. To do this, the participation of teachers with master's degrees got involved to interact in a real teaching activity with the device and respond interviews with scale items. For the data analysis and comparison Likert scale trend between items, accompanied by a DOFA it was used. The results establish that the categories are related to elements means that lower device design however does not influence the teaching process.

Esta investigación cualitativa forma parte del proyecto “Los artefactos digitales en la enseñanza de las ciencias naturales, especialmente, la biología”. En esta primera fase el objetivo es relacionar los aspectos tecnológicos con los elementos didácticos del objeto virtual de aprendizaje (OVA). El diseño metodológico seleccionado es el de estudio de caso instrumental, ya que se dispone de la evaluación para establecer los elementos constitutivos del OVA. Para ello, participaron profesores con estudios de maestría para interactuar en una actividad real de enseñanza con el artefacto y responder las entrevistas de ítems con escala. Para el análisis de los datos, se empleó la escala Likert y comparación de la tendencia entre ítems, acompañado de una matriz de Debilidades, Oportunidades, Debilidades y Amenazas (DOFA). Los resultados establecen que las categorías relacionadas con medios son elementos que desfavorecen el diseño del artefacto pero que, sin embargo, no influyen en el proceso de enseñanza.
