La agricultura en Argentina se ha destacado en los últimos años por su crecimiento, dinamismo, como también, por las controversias en relación a su papel como motor de la economía y a las retenciones agropecuarias. El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la relación entre agricultura y crecimiento económico, a partir de un análisis de causalidad y regresiones de crecimiento. Los principales resultados sugieren que existe un efecto positivo de largo plazo de los rendimientos agrícolas sobre el producto, pero negativos a corto plazo. Instituto de Economía y Finanzas.
